About William Taylor

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as your Metro Atlanta real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs… that also means being accessible. You may visit my website: www.JustAskWilliam.com, and find me via the social media - Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

How I Got Here

I returned to my native Atlanta and received a Georgia real estate license in 2006 after spending 26 years in California. There I functioned as a computer/network sales engineer and, for just under 10 of those years, as a real estate professional with Pacific Union and McGuire & Company – high end, luxury real estate brokerage firms in San Francisco.

Prior to the real estate business, I began my career having discovered my innate ability and passion for solving customer problems through consultative selling processes in computer software and hardware sales with the Unisys Corporation. I transitioned to IBM and MCI and performed as a Sales Engineer designing and supporting communications and networking products. Also during this time, I became certified as an IT instructor for the University of California at Berkley where I taught Internet technology both online and in the classroom.

My post secondary education consisted of Networking Certificates from University of California at Santa Cruz - High Speed Switching, and University of California at Berkeley - Network Engineering. I also attended Howard University, Washington, D.C.; and Pace University, New York City, where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

In addition to enjoying the real estate landscape of Atlanta, I stay fully engaged in the city’s performing arts scene, frequenting art shows, theatre and live music venues. I also remain active in the local Board of Realtors as well as business associations such as the Luxury Marketing Council. This level of involvement enables me to bring stability, and flexibility to my clients, particularly those new to the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Specialty: William maintains a Zen-like, minimalist style himself, but thrives on working with buyers and sellers in a mixture of creative architectural styles and price ranges with the commonality of substance in the details.
